MTK2 - 2005 - Electric Light Plaza

MTK2 is a group that does musical arrangements. And in Electric Light Plaza, they do some of the best works that I have seen. They even do Frog/Kaeru's Theme and Final Fantasy Legend's Heartfelt Tears. And who even remembers Final Fantasy Legend 2? Not many. Well, I'll leave some sample tracks and let you enjoy. Oh, and their style for this soundtrack is piano that has some echoing effect that sounds etheral.

SaGa 2 Hihou Densetsu Goddess of Destiny OST

So Final Fantasy Legend 2 got remade for the Nintendo DS not too long ago, but it was only released in Japan, so I never got to play it. But the soundtrack is just as good as the Game Boy version. The reason I say this is that nostalgia makes me favor the old music more, but that's just me.

Final Fantasy Legend 2 OST

Final Fantasy Legend 2 (Saga2) is not really a Final Fantasy game at all. It just got the name to try to increase sales. Composed by Kenji Ito and Nobuo Uematsu, this is one engaging soundtrack. It sounds old (because it is), but it has many catchy tunes.

Gedo Senki OST

Gedo Senki is the anime film that adapted some parts of the Earthsea series by Ursula K. Le Guin. This was produced by Ghibli, but it was Miyazaki Goro who directed it. Nevertheless, the soundtrack by Tamina Terashima is amazing. Like Sword of the Stranger, some tracks are different versions of the same theme. But what a theme it is. It just creates a sad mood that works very well in the anime.

Sword of the Stranger OST

Composed by Naoki Saito, Sword of the Stranger's OST is absolutely amazing. There is one central theme in the soundtrack, but it is played by a variety of instruments each time that produces different atmospheres. Some of the tracks will sound weird and out of place because they are obviously suppose to accompany the anime.

Breath of Fire 2 OST

Breath of Fire 2 OST is actually pretty good. It may just be nostalgia, but these tracks are some of my favorites. In particular, Memories, The White Wings, Cross Counter, and Face Your Destiny stand out. I'll probably do a review of the game, but for now, here's the OST.
