How unfortunate. I was hoping that we would be able to fight off the declining number of posts each month, but it appears that our efforts have not done so well in that category. Nevertheless, where would the fun be if there was no challenge? If our goal is to defeat the preceding month's number of posts, then our job has gotten a lot easier, for making 22 posts is a lot easier than making 33, and making 33 is a lot easier than making 71, and so on. This will, of course, be post number one of the month, making the goal one post closer.

New Head

Well, I guess it's time for me to say that I am now head of this blog. A long time ago, it used to be a competition between FluffyBunnyPwn, domodragon53, and me for supremacy. But now, those two are gone, and our new recruits are nowhere to be seen. The island of FluffyBunnyPwn officially belongs to me. Although, I would like them to have some posts again because it is a damn hard job. Notice how the number of posts have declined by half every month. And this month is no different. It's the 10th of July and we only have 4 posts (including this one). So I'll jsut leave off with some pictures of emperors/lord looking people to show by how much I won. Yes, it makes me feel like the Conqueror of West Chu (Xiang Yu).

New Change

As of right now, there is now a count of how many posts each of us writers have done. It's on the right side where the tags are. Fluffybunnypwn's count will be listed as Z: Fluffybunnypwn (insert current number) and if you click, you will see all the posts Fluffybunnypwn has done. The same goes for domodragon53. Z:domodragon53 (insert current number). And same goes for me Z: Soaringhawk (insert the highest number). Bakaneko and MonkeyKidd will have to get at least 15 posts each before I add their names to the new category.

Farewell?

Three idiots stumbled into our domain. One by one they decided to try their luck at this game. One by one they imprinted their names (except 4DKitty, she never did anything). The Omegalisk looking dude made Perfect Dark. Oh how joyous we were, for the potential of a new competitor was on everyone's mind (not really, we woulda ate him like a fly). The Turtle who eats made a sensation with her K-music. Everyone saw a great future full of challenges from Anonymous Jay-walker. However, the Turtle disappeared from the face of the place.

Little did they affect the island of FluffyBunnyPwn, little were they noticed by anyone. Had they united together they might have overtaken the island. Now they will disappear into obscurity. They are Nikanoru (Breath of Fire 2 anyone?). Nikoranu, the dead ones. They were never alive, never here for life. No fame, no glory; only silence can be given to Nikoranu. They wanted to have a taste of fame and power. Now that they had their chance, they are gone.

MonkeyKidd going Pro in Leage of Legends? Ivy LoL

So MonkeyKidd won't be on the blog for a while because he will be playing League of Legends...LOL i know ahaha. But he will be playing to win some $$$$$. Oh what is Ivy LoL? Well it's a college tournament in the US...UofArkansas was not on there so he register the school and got some friends and tSn(TeamSkyNite) from school to join. So far we have 6 people including me(Team Coordinator). The games maybe broadcast live, since its a college tournament just like the college starcraft II tournaments. Any ways MonkeyKidd will be practicing with his team to cooperate and learn new tricks and team work battle tactics.

It's OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!

Now THIS is a real milestone. As anime and video game nuts, we'd be insane for our views to hit 9000 and not do anything about it. It hasn't even been 2 months yet and achieving this many blog views in that duration is really inspiring. Be sure not to just be silent readers and comment every now and then too, either via chatbox or posting comments below the articles themselves. Again, as FluffyBunnyPwn, I want to thank the writers for doing a great job, even though we're in a semi-writer's block situation right now, and the readers for checking out our blog. Fire Emblem Dude

So when you're playing Fire Emblem, you move your character from one square to the next in different terrains and all you see your little sprite character do is slide along the arrow to that location. Well, this vid shows you how epic it is when they move from one square to the next, hahahahaha. Sprite is put together by domodragon53 and the rest of it is well... all FluffyBunnyPwn, hahahaha. Video editing, animating, sound, uploading... it's a tiring job to be honest. But, I gotta admit, it looks pretty nice for a 30 second clip.

The Story Thus Far... (domodragon53)

Banished from his clan for his imagination of peace. Chased by savages for the reward on his head. Hunted like an animal because of his will to live. Domo, from the clan of the ancient Dragon, set flew down to the plains of Earth to seek salvation. He settled on the third corner of Earth, now known as FluffyBunnyPwn, which resided two other Gods, the founder, FluffyBunnyPwn, and SoaringHawk. Promising to work hard to maintain the order of the land and keep the people in it happy, Domo specifically writes the laws of the most of the video game contents. Where as SoaringHawk, he resides in the maintain the laws of Ravages of Time and some anime content. While the mastermind, FluffyBunnyPwn, he records in both video games and anime, in order to maintain equilibrium between the three gods. When there is peace and prosperity, there is also chaos and destruction. The dark clouds from the south rolled into the island of FluffyBunnyPwn. Along with the storm, came three lazy gods that wished to rule the island with the three former gods. FluffyBunnyPwn seeing their hardship, allowed the three new gods to write the laws of the land. The BlindKitty was not able to write due to her sight, was dropped from the island. The Beetle wrote one legit law, and was never heard of again. The Turtle wrote a law that contradicted with another god from another island was scared of her mistake and hid in her shell, to be never seen again. The three former gods were in conflict within themselves, unable to write new laws for the people of the island. They eventually opened themselves up, due to the offerings of the people. The offerings also attracted another god, MonkeyKidd. MonkeyKidd was given the same chances as the other gods, and succeeded them, allowing his place to be a god on the island. Not for long, a new god, BakuNeko, joined the gods of the island. But now, now he has to prove himself to be worthy to the people of the island. BakuNeko is given the same test as all the gods before him…

The Story Thus Far...(Soaringhawk Style)

So one day, this hawk was looking around the web. Seeing nothing better to do, he randomly stumbled across a poor and emerging state called FluffyBunyPwn. Without thinking about it, this hawk decided to join, and, in doing so, started the rapid development of the blog with his Ravages of Time. Pretty soon, this hawk decided that having a friend from the sky wouldn't be so bad, and introduced the dragon. With FluffyBunnyPwn inactive for a while, this hawk and the dragon descended from the sky and laid waste to the bunny's reign. Pretty soon, it was evident that the bunny had the lowest number of posts, while the hawk was supreme. Of course, this hawk's reign did not last long, for the bunny returned with a vengeance. The bunny introduced the blind cat, the beetle, and the turtle. All were opportune followers for this hawk, but they were too inactive to support this hawk's rebellion. Thankfully, a monkey appeared and this site started rolling downhill again. And now, all of a sudden, (without my even knowing about it or being consulted) another cat comes along. Is this one another follower of me, or will it support the bunny's empire? Only time will tell. As of right now, the bunny has the most popular post (FMA review, that thief). The dragon has the most overall popular posts. And this hawk has the most posts and the most comments. But this hawk has the least amount of views. The stage has been set. The contest between the three hegemons will continue.

The Story Thus Far...

It started out very simple and without any expectations of any sort. After pondering for about a week, one little fluffy bunny decided to start his own little blog about anime and video games, two of his most favorite hobbies. His plan was just to have one or two posts a day, pertaining to anime and video games without feeling any obligation towards anything related to the new blog. Not long after making a few posts, a hawk, with his farsighted eyes, spotted the bunny with his new blog and wanted to contribute to this newfound place. News travel fast, one day in fact, and a dragon wanted in as well. With the bunny, the hawk, and the dragon, the three blog animals were ready to conquer some video game and anime reviews. With these three, the blog began to grow at an alarming rate. At this point, the new blog smell attracted a blind kitty. However, till this day, the blind kitty never found her way over to the blog and probably got lost in an alley somewhere. Two unfortunate events happened after that as well. Two more animals joined in: a turtle and a beetle. The turtle, as slow as she was, ran into some trouble with her second post, offending a person who doesn't like to use crosswalks, and... never posted since. The beetle on the other hand, made one post, and disappeared in the wind without a trace. Losing hope and motivation, the three remaining animals, the bunny, the hawk, and the dragon began to falter and eventually had a severe case of writer's block. They did everything in their power to try to keep the blog alive and so far, it seems to be working. The animals weren't working as hard as before, but in exchange for that, they're working at a more stable rate. In the midst of all this, a monkey happened to be passing by and mistook the blog for a forest full of bananas and is now also a part of the team.

Now... one and a half months and almost two hundred posts later... a stupid cat enters the arena...

And that's the story thus far.

domodragon53's pick for Best DS Opening Scenes

The Nintendo DS has many great games, and along with those games, is one of the bestopening videos I have seen for a handheld. In no particular order, here are the introduction clips that grabbed my attention, in terms of graphics, music, and stuff.

Final Fantasy 4

When I first got this game for my DS, the opening scene took my breath away. One of my first games on the DS, and it set the mood for what was in store for Final Fantasy 4. The opening scene explained everything: love story, epic adventure, multiple characters, and some baddass looking bosses.

Dragon Quest 9

I had really high expectations for this game, and it met them. But the opening scene took me by surprise. Usually DQ games on the DS do not have an opening scene. It is just a dragon flying in front of a flying castle, that its! But DQ9… after watching it, I knew the game was going to be epic. I just love the last part, where the hawk is flying and the music is playing… gives me goosebumps everytime.

Valkyrie Profile: Covent of the Plume

 

For a game well known for the Playstation, Covent of the Plume received average scores. However, the opening scene is damn epic. Two guys running in the middle of the battlefield, and a hot girl in the beginning just makes the opening scene much better.

Metriod Prime Hunters

This game came out when the DS was still fresh. One of the more popular FPS on the DS, the opening scene was amazing, and still today. Showed all the characters, and had a little battle scene. The graphics were amazing for this scene.

Super Robot Wars Mugen No Frontier Exceed

No reason… just watch it, that’s reasonable enough.

Milestone... Yea...

Well it seems like we've reached a milestone in terms of the number of writers that we have working on this blog. Unfortunately less than half of these animals are actually doing any work *glares at the turtle, the beetle, and the cat*. The monkey is still new, so we still have yet to see how long he will last. Otherwise, the bunny, the birdy, and the dragon are all getting burnt out, carrying the weight of those "other" animals. Anyways, as new anime and video games come out, so will reviews and whatnot. Status Update 5/16

So, the site has been pretty much inactive for a while. Sure a post comes up every now and then, but there is no passion behind it like before. Thankfully, there is a rumor going around that another animal will join the ranks. Of course, the new additions to the blog haven't been particularly impressive. This time, though, the Soaringhawk will predict that the next writer will be a good writer. Yes, the MonkeyKidd will join the ranks as the number 4 officer, right behind the domodragon53 (the others are of lesser rank even though MonkeyKidd has yet to make a significant post). And he will assist me in overthrowing the corrupt FluffyBunnyPwn (yes, it's getting old right?) and making this blog more fair for the people as a whole.
